Job description:

Pipefy is looking for a Product Manager to lead our AI Platform squad — the team responsible for building the core AI services, capabilities, and infrastructure that power AI across the entire Pipefy product ecosystem.

You will define and evolve the platform that enables feature squads to build AI-powered workflows, agents, automations, and insights. This role requires strong collaboration with other PMs, deep understanding of platform needs, and an ability to anticipate cross-squad requirements. You will lead the squad from discovery to delivery, shaping the foundational layer of AI inside Pipefy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI Platform squad, owning the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Collaborate closely with PMs from feature squads to understand their needs and translate them into platform capabilities.
• Continuously refine the AI Platform Strategy, ensuring it aligns with company goals and anticipates future cross-product AI opportunities.
• Create scalable, modular AI services such as model management, inference orchestration, embeddings, fine-tuning pipelines, AI credits/metering, and observability.
• Analyze product and infrastructure needs to define the right platform abstractions, APIs, and shared components.
• Prioritize the squad’s roadmap using metrics, customer needs, and internal stakeholder input.
• Ensure strong governance and lifecycle management for models, datasets, and evaluation pipelines.
• Manage OKRs, success metrics, reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI systems.
• Lead internal and external releases, including rollout plans, monitoring, documentation, and communication.
• Support the squad’s positioning and strategic role within the platform organization, maintaining alignment across all teams.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in Product Management, ideally in technical or platform environments.
• Ability to navigate seamlessly between business needs and technical discussions with engineers, data scientists, and ML teams.
• Strong communication skills for aligning both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of Product Management best practices, including discovery, prioritization, and roadmap strategy.
• Strong analytical background, able to interpret AI metrics, usage patterns, and behavioral data to drive decisions.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled experiences, workflow automation, or similar domains.
• Ability to identify cross-team needs, synthesize themes, and translate them into platform capabilities.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, fast-evolving environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with AI/ML platforms, infrastructure, orchestration, model lifecycle, or agent frameworks.
• Understanding of software and data architecture for scalable AI systems (e.g., vector stores, model management, event-driven pipelines).
• Experience with platform teams that provide foundational services to other engineering teams.
